Lakeside retreat
My girlfriend and I were flying from Queenstown up to Rotorua, then driving a couple of hours to get to our favorite weekend getaway spot. We picked up our car from car hire rotorua and hit the road. We normally try and make the trip at least once every few months just for a bit of rest and relaxation. We go to a beautiful spot right beside a lake. There are no phones or TV so we spend the entire time sitting on the deck enjoying the view, fishing or going out on the boat. It is a great way to spend a weekend and unwind from the hectic work schedule.
