While it may not be the largest or the biggest it does have the tag of being related to Greek mythology. Corfu is a Greek Islands Greece tourist spot and world heritage site that offers archaeological marvels and tourist attractions. It is the second largest Island in the Ionian sea and is included in all major tour packages of the country. As the Italian name of the place suggests it has got a lot of mountain ranges and is therefore easily associated with Greek mythology. Asopos and Poseidon are two such characters from ancient Greek mythology that are tagged to Corfu. Although this Greek Islands Greece tourist spot has many beautiful beaches, the Canal D’Amouris is the most visited and documented one.
