Wired for stormy weather
We had a weekend of crazy thunderstorms. The lightning lit up the sky and the thunder seemed to shake the whole house. We were glad that we were safe inside and didn’t even give a thought to the office of our family run business until we went in Monday morning. We were shocked to find our computer system ruined and we called Elk Grove Computer Consulting immediately. Their consultant came out and explained to us that because we didn’t have surge protectors a lightning strike sent voltage streaming through the wires leaving a fried motherboard in its wake. After they made repairs surge protectors were added so now I am wired for stormy weather.
