Remodel Your Small Bathroom

We all do not have the chance to buy the large home that will help us to fit all of our junk inside of. Houses are not cheap anymore and in this market you have to bide your time. So instead of moving everything you own why not simply expand or at least remodel the home that you have to make it appear slightly bigger than normal.

In my home we decided to start with a few bathroom remodel ideas that we have been bouncing back and forth for a few years. We wanted to remodel the guest bathroom. It is the smallest one in the home and we want it to appear more cozy and welcome than what it is right now.

Although we did not have the option to expand on it we thought we could make it look slightly larger than it really was. On the floor we ripped up the black and white linoleum and laid down cream colored tiles. This helped to make the floor appear bigger and tile is easy to lay down and will last longer.

When remodeling small bathrooms we knew we had to use light colors. We painted the walls with a light blue color and used the white appliances. We ripped out the old sink and cabinet beneath it. Instead we replaced it with a pedestal sink. This helps to free up some space on the floor and it looks great! After that we put up a few pictures and laid down the rugs.
