The Hurricane Advisory Let’s Us Know What To Do Next
Knowing that a hurricane is bearing down on you can be a very unnerving experience. You feel the urge to flee but you do not want to go and abandon all your property. We take the middle road and when the first Hurricane Advisory warns us that one is coming we start preparing for it. Everything is brought inside and the house and out buildings are buttoned up. If further advisories tell us that it is going to come ashore near us we prepare to evacuate. Otherwise we sit tight and await further developments. Our ears are tuned to the radio so that we know exactly what is happening.
