How does ADDER in Whitehaven Penrith and Carlisle support people with dystonia?

People with dystonia receive a great deal of support and advice from a number of different voluntary organisations as well as the statutory bodies charged with the casre of people with neurological conditions. ADDER in Whitehaven Penrith and Carlisle is one such organization. ADDER (Action for Dystonia, Diagnosis, Education and Research) now covers the entire United Kingdom but has its roots in the North East of England where it covered Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham, Cleveland and Cumbria. ADDER is a number of support groupsthat have been established and run entirely by people with dystonia or who have family members with dystonia.
