We’re Not All Crafty

Not all mormon women are crafty or even have a desire to do crafts or sewing. For example, me. I feel completely inadequate at it. Imagine you walk into a room and I tell you to sing a solo for everyone. That’s how I feel when people try to force me to quilt, sew, paint, and other things. My mom is talented in that way, but she was never able to get me into it. Maybe deep down I refused because I thought it was expected of mormon women, but I truly had no interest. Most stuff I made as a kid was just clutter on someone’s desk to be thrown out later. I’d much rather make music.
