My Home Construction Loan Story
My husband and I are getting up in age, and decided that we wanted to find a home that we could settle into for the long haul. Having never built our own home before, the first place we started looking was for houses that were on the market. We toured home after home, but none of the houses we looked at had that special something that was exactly what we were looking for. After months of looking and getting frustrated, we decided to look into building our own home with our own sketches of what we wanted.
One of the first places we started was to find a deal on a home construction loan, which we got pretty easily from our local bank. Of course, there was a credit check and a bunch of paperwork to complete, but in the end, we know have our dream house, and wonder why we waited so long!
