My DIY Solar Project Made It To The Regional Science Fair Championships
This year’s science fair is finally over and I have worked really hard. My goal this year was to make it to the regional competition and I am so happy to say that I have made it. My project was built around a diy solar kit. I was able to compare which areas around my house gave me the best solar light properties. The front of my house gets the early morning sun and then it makes its way to the backyard by the afternoon. I live in a fairly wooded area so even if the solar panels were installed on my roof I would still see similar light conditions as I did with my project. Another part of my project was to give a bit of a history on solar energy and provide some of the costs that are associated with a full scale project. In the end I was very pleased with the outcome.
