Prostate Cancer Information
Prostate Disorders include enlargement of the prostrate gland and prostrate cancer. It happens when cells in the prostate, which is part of the male reproductive system begin to grow out of control and then invade nearby tissues or spread throughout the body. Large collections of this out of control tissue are called tumors. The cells divide abnormally and a tumor grows in the prostate.
Prostate cancer cells can be very slow growing and not cause any problems or symptoms, and may not become life-threatening.
However, prostrate cancer is still at the top of the list of prostate problems for men and is the 3rd major cause of death related to cancer for men.
