Creating Your Own Kidney Diet

If you have been diagnosed with a kidney problem, you can say goodbye to probably half of the food that you have been eating your entire life. Drastic as it may sound, it’s not really such a big sacrifice to make considering the tradeoff, which is a huge improvement to your health. When creating your own kidney diet, the most important thing to keep in mind is to reduce your intake of sodium and phosphorus, which are found mostly in processed foods anyway. Instead, you should focus on eating fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grain products and plenty of fluids. These foods will keep your body kidneys strong, healthy and free of harmful toxins.
