The Advantage Of Using A Debit Card
How is a debit card different from a credit card? One of the most striking differences is that in the case of a debit card, you do not have the problem of Mis-Sold PPI. This is natural because you cannot use a debit card to buy anything on credit. That is why you do not require an insurance to protect you from unforeseen circumstances such as sudden job loss or accident. However, the main factor that differentiates a debit card from a credit card is that in the case of the former, you cannot become a victim of debt due to it. Of course, if you have taken a loan and fail to make payments on time, you would become a defaulter and land up in debt. But, a debit card can never be held responsible for giving you the burden of debt. The same thing cannot be said about a credit card. Most defaulters become so because they find it unable to cope with the ever-increasing credit bills. That is why it is always advisable to use a debit card which allows you to spend only that much amount that you have in your account and not a penny more.
You cannot overlook the fact that in the case of a debit card, the company cannot dupe you in any way. Making a PPI Claim is quite a hazardous thing and it is always better to avoid it. In most cases, consumers have to play the waiting game without any assurance that they would get the money back.
