My husband and I do a lot of traveling, so we have picked up on different things so that we can save some extra money. We prefer to do a currency exchange head of time, mainly because it saves of time from having to go to a location. We also stay away from an ATM because if you use them for this purpose, not only will get a charge from your bank, but you will get charged a transaction fee from the local bank.
