Change of plans in the middle of a park
Tim was having a bad day. Every time he looked at the costs of his business, it seemed that they were getting higher with every passing second. To make matters worse, his wife did not believe that he was spending more time working late to keep up with the work and would nag him incessantly. He did not feel like going back home, but neither did he feel like staying at work. It was really depressing to look at the accounts and have nowhere to lay one’s head to avoid more complications. Sometimes he would leave early only to walk down the streets thinking of what tomorrow would bring. He knew that there was no guarantee that things would work out the way they were, but at least he had his peace of mind by looking at other people who were so worked up that they would talk softly while they walked. One day while sitting at the local park, he spotted a young man on his laptop. He seemed oblivious of everything else as he worked frantically on the laptop. ‘Oh, the joy of youth,’ thought Tim, ‘I wish I could forget all my sorrows and be like him.’ What he did not know was that the young man was an upcoming web designer. His work was to help companies like Tim’s which were loosing ground to find it online. The monthly seo fees that he charged gave him enough to pay his fees in college. Though in his CV he had written about having monthly seo packages for all kinds of companies, he mostly specialized in small companies. Those were the ones most likely to hear him out and offer him a job. As he turned and caught sight of Tim staring at him, he smiled a job offer was on the way. He could actually smell it.
