Church Pews Softer in Heaven?
I know it’s a standard joke, the guy who can’t stay awake during a long and boring Sunday sermon, but in all honesty I don’t know how anyone could doze sitting on those uncomfortable church pews! I fidget so much trying to keep my bottom from falling asleep that the rest of me doesn’t stand a chance of passing out. But I’ve had this problem my whole life, on buses and in airport terminals being two that come to mind immediately. Maybe I should start carrying a pillow around with me or something. Anyway, I hope the chairs are softer in Heaven than in my church.
